So essentially sensory info enters through the middle layers, (mainly layer 4, but also 3&5?) and moves both directions, up and down through the layers. At the same time? is that vaguely correct?
Q1- Also, does the flow of synaptic firings move through the layers then back to layer 4 and moved...
Hello,
Trying to make sense of the odds that I (or you) exist, from what I read people say its basically 0, which doesn't make sense to me since I am here after a short ~14 billion years of our universe existing.
Given IF the universe and time are infinite, my odds of existing again, no...
hi,
Can someone tell me excatly where the sensory input enter the cortex? Mainly tell me at what cortical layer( I've heard V4)? I am talking about sensory information directly from outside the cortex ( through eyes/ear/etc..) not input from other lobes or areas in grey matter.
Any other...
By density I meant number of connections. Say an area on the cerebral cortex is 3 mm thick, my question is weather the outer most .1 mm part has more connections per neuron than the inner most .1 mm part of the thickness.
Sorry for being a bit vague, this isn't really my subject, thanks...
Does anyone know what areas of the brain have a denser amount of synapse? Are there more connections on the outside area than the inner areas, or is it uniform for the most part?
Homework Statement
Could someone help me calculate the rate of expansion of gas (helium or hydrogen) in a balloon at different altitudes.
temperature is -30f at all altitudes

Im not saying the technology doesn't look amazing, but the AI isn't there. They used scripting and presented it like there was one. Hopefully it will have a real AI when its ready for release.
The conversation was scripted, the boys response was pre-recorded, not put together from individual words by an AI.
The voice reconition and the ability to reconize the paper object and recreate it in the vertual world was pretty impressive, but not really AI.
To OP:
Mybe the the universe isn't growing at all, and has always been the same size. Mybe the only thing that has changed is TIME in the universe, Making the illusion of a changing distance. You never know.
Naw, just messin with you... :P
Theres no way too, but you have to...
I mean when the prop changes from the round bar at its root, to a flatened blade for pushing air at its ends.
My point was if the inner half of the blade only makes 10-20% of the thrust then the amount of air resistance on the fuselage is very little.
And if the inner 1/4th of the blade...
